Family Picture

Thanksgiving this year was with the Days. We stayed in a Guest Ranch in Wyoming that weekend with many tournaments (which Spencer dominated in) including Ping Pong, Speed Pool, Football and many board games. We took pictures together as well. This was one of the best. It is fun trying to get six grandkids, ten adults and two grandparents to all smile at the same time.

Fourth Picture

Here is my fourth picture. This was Halloween. Kayla was Elmo, Nathaniel a red chili pepper and Spencer was a director, or a stuntman, or anything that didn't require a costume. We were at Dominic and Carrie's for their Halloween Party!!! That was a fun night!

Rules: Pick the fourth picture in your fourth folder and tell about it.
Nathaniel has grown so much. I can hardly believe how big he is. He will make a great lineman someday. He has such a beautiful smile and laugh. He can melt anyones heart.
Kayla is such a girly girl. She loves purses, skirts and heels. Tea parties are fun and she also loves princesses. I am so lucky to have such a feminine daughter, who also likes to play rough with Daddy.

Nathaniel's baby blessing

Nathaniel is getting so big. He did great on his blessing day, and Spencer gave him a wonderful blessing. We had a great time seeing family that day. Thanks to all that helped with food and making this day possible.
The proud parents with our baby.
Kayla has this cow print skirt which is her absolute favorite. She wears it over just about every outfit, and even sleeps in it sometimes. After the blessing, she put on my high heels and walked all around. When we would pick her up, she would straighten her legs so the shoes wouldn't fall off. It was a very eventful day.

Happy Halloween!

Nathaniel was a chili pepper, if you can't tell what is written on his costume, it says, "Hot Stuff"!

Kayla loved trick or treating, or as she said it, "Or Treat". She got quite the haul, which Spencer loved!

October

October has been a fun month so far. Nathaniel has doubled his birth weight, and is a happy boy, just learning how to smile. Kayla loves to sing, so Grandma Day made her a sun to sing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam." She loves to sing Popcorn as well.
One fun discovery is that Kayla loves to eat salad. She is a very healthy eater, although the other day she found the icecream scoop and stood by the door that goes out to the freezer in the garage and kept saying "Cream'. She gets that from Spencer. He loves ice cream, too.
Spencer, Kayla, and Nathaniel went to a pumpkin patch with Grandparents Day and Cousins Degory and Eliza. Kayla has so much fun outside. I was sad to miss that, I have started back at work at the LDS Distribution Center.

Our Little Angels

Seattle

For our second Anniversary Spencer and I went to Seattle, WA. We had lots of fun at Safeco Field. Spencer even got to touch the grass. We went on a ferry ride, and went to Pike's Market. It was nice to get home. We missed Kayla.

Kayla and Nathaniel at the Hospital

One proud big sister.

THE DAD CORNER

Not to sound gay or anything but there is nothing more sweet and fulfilling as a man in life than seeing a little baby that has just come into the world. For the second time in my life now I witnessed the birth of a child of mine; and for the second time a feeling of love entered into my heart the moment I saw the child. That is a feeling that will never be forgotten.
On a less emotional note our family is doing great. We are trying to teach Kayla her colors so when BYU plays Utah she doesn't say the wrong color causing instant ridicule and more importantly a complex. That's all for now.

One Happy Family

We are now a family of four. I can hardly believe how our family has grown. Kayla is a very loving older sister. We have to protect Nathaniel from her hugs and kisses. Nathaniel is growing stronger and bigger every day. We are so lucky to have such wonderful kids.
