I think I fell off the face of the earth. We have been truly blessed by kindness from everyone around us. Thank you to everyone for supporting us and helping us out.

Kayla is in Pre-School, and loving it. She has a great teacher, and Kayla is learning so much. I love to hear all that she learns, and her thoughts. The other day I unloaded the boys from the van, and Kayla was just sitting in her seat, and she didn't want to get out, because she was "thinking for a long time". She loves helping and singing and performing.

Nathaniel is enjoying coloring right now. I can often find him laying on the floor with a colored pencil and coloring on a piece of paper. He has turned into quite the helper, always trying to do what we ask him or his sister to do. His vocabulary is growing and growing everyday.

Tucker is such a cutie. His smile just makes you smile, and he is growing so fast. He now can sit up by himself. He loves to eat cereal, and play with toys. He has two teeth and is such a mellow kid.

Spencer and I are so happy to have such wonderful kids. They all bring such joy to our lives. We can't even believe how quickly they are growing.

Winter Welcome

What a snow storm!!! We had nearly two feet of snow, it made quite a work out for Spencer! Kayla got stuck in the snow, and Nathaniel didn't want to leave the path Spencer made.

artwork and icecream

Don't you just love when you put a child to bed for a nap or for the night, and you think they are asleep, because they are quiet? Well, my lovely three year old is quite the girl. She was allegedly asleep one night. The next morning she showed me how she colored all over her body with a marker. Her face, neck, chest, stomach, legs, arms, hands, feet, all had marker on them. Then, when I went into her room, I found out that wasn't the only place she decided to color. She colored over her entire wall, and her rocking chair. Luckily we were able to get it off the wall. She is such an adventurer.

We had a family reunion for my mom's side. It is a big one, that looks like a ward get together. The first day we went to Seven Peaks, for free, yay, we love coupons. Tucker was a champ. He let me go swimming while he layed in a pack-n-play kicking and smiling, only crying when he was hungry (thanks mom for watching him so I could go play).

Kayla and Nathaniel had fun at the water park, but on of their favorite things was the icecream snack. Here are some cute pics of their messy little faces.

Pictures of the baby blessing

Here is our cute family at Tucker's blessing. I can still harldy believe we are a family of five! My kids are getting so big! Here is my Grandma holding Tucker. She cracks me up. She says she will only hold him if he is sleeping, but the second he starts crying, he goes back to his mom. He slept for a long time in his Great-Grandma's arms.

This picture makes me think of Mary Poppins, and my mom. "Tucker, close your mouth, we're not cod fish." I love this picture. So peaceful. This is the blanket my aunt made for Tucker's blessing. It is so cute!
Here is Kayla dancing with her cousin Christian. She thinks she is going to marry him, but I keep telling her she can't marry her cousin. But, they are sure cute friends.
Summer league has begun, and Spencer's team is 1-1, and have another game coming up. They looked awesome at their last game. Spencer sure loves coaching, and we love to go watch him. It is fun to see his team play, and see all the hard work and long hours he puts into the team, and to watch them progress.
Tucker is growing so much. He doubled his birth weight at two months, and is doing great. I did have to take him to Primary Children's Hospital for an ultrasound last week. Don't worry, everything is fine. His hip pops, so we were just making sure everything has grown properly. I was a little nervous, but we now know that he is just fine, and growing well.
Nathaniel is so smart. His vocabulary is growing everyday. He still loves to say BALL the most. He aslo says Doose (Juice), Gink(milk/drink), kay, hee go (here you go), Doe (NO!!) Yes, he now tells me No all the time. He loves to play and explore. His favorite thing at the park is usually to swing. He can swing the entire time.
Kayla is such a beautiful little lady. She surprises me every day with all that she learns. She usually comes out of her room already dressed for the day, and she usually does a great job picking outfits. She loves to color and draw, even on herself. I have to continually scold her for drawing on herself. I explained to her that her body is a temple, and we wouldn't color on the temple. That night in our family prayer, she blessed our bodies that are temples, that they won't get drawn on. Such a smart girl, and what a memory, too.

playing catch up

Well, much has happened. Tucker was blessed May 2, and it was a wonderful day. We had family around us supporting us, and Tucker had a great day devoted to him. My Aunt Janaye crocheted a beautiful blanket for him to be blessed in, and my parents funded his blessing outfit. It was a beautiful blessing that Spencer gave Tucker.

Spencer has started coaching his summer league at Hunter High School, and loves it so much. He loves baseball, coaching, and just helping these kids to learn and grow. We are very excited because next year he will be getting a little money to pay for the long hours he devotes to baseball.

Kayla is very grown up. She took care of herself the other morning when i was so exhausted and didn't want to wake up yet. She poured herself and me a bowl of cereal, without milk, then poured us each a cup of milk. She ended up spilling, so she asked for my help to clean it up. She also brought up two pieces of french bread. That got me out of bed, because I knew that the french bread was not sliced by an adult. Yes, my three year old got a knife and cut the bread for herself and me. She does still have all her fingers, and no blood was spilt.

Nathaniel is a big boy. I forget that he isn't two yet, because he wears 2T-3T clothes. Any object or picture that is round is a "BALL!" The way he says it is as if it explodes out of his mouth. He loves to pitch to Spencer and have him hit it with a bat. He also has the perfect form for shooting a free throw. The other day he was showing me a circle on a piece of paper saying, "BALL!" I tried to correct him by saying "Circle". That exchange went of three or four times, then he put one hand on the side of my face to make sure I was looking at the same thing he was looking at, and said one final, "BALL". He either thought I understood, or just gave up on me.

Tucker is such a cutie. He is the hiccup king. I seriously have to burp him two times as long as it takes to feed him, so he doesn't get them, but he still will sometimes. He doesn't sleep through the night yet, but I have high hopes he will want to soon. He is growing so quickly. I can hardly believe he was half the size he is now two months ago. He is such a cute little guy, and makes the cutest noises that a baby makes.

Watching my family grow and learn is such a wonderful part of my life. I try to be a good mother and wife, and sometimes I feel like I am. I am so lucky to be a mother of three beautiful and wonderful children. I can hardly believe I am the mother of three. Time is moving very quickly. I love them, and am the luckiest wife. Spencer is so good to me, taking care of me and picking up my slack when I am weak. I am such a lucky person.

Tucker Owen and Easter Clothes

Here is our cutie. He is growing well, and is a sweet baby. His siblings all love him, and always want to look at him and hold him. He is such a great addition to our family.

Kayla and Nathaniel dressed for Easter. They both got new Sunday clothes for Easter. So Beautiful and Handsome!

Daddy is a train when he is on the rocking chair. Kayla and Nathaniel have so much fun with Daddy. Isn't my family so cute?

Welcome Tucker Owen

We were blessed with the most handsome and perfect baby boy on Thursday April 1, 2010. Weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces, 20 1/4 inches long, lots of dark hair, and all fingers and toes. Tucker is such a cute baby. He finally decided to pay attention to me, and realize that Mommy was done. I was beginning to think he was a very stubborn child. But, he pulled through. He was born less than an hour after arriving at the Hospital. I know a little more about my delivery. My mom had me in the elevator on the way up to the labor and delivery, and when I got into the hospital, I told them, I need a wheelchair. I was ready to have this baby. Spencer is the best coach. He is so patient with me while I am having a tough time with the pain. He comforted me and kept me focused. Now, yes, I had planned to have this baby without any drugs, because I hated the epidural I had with Kayla. It was funny when the nurse asked me if I wanted an epidural, I said no, and she said, good, because you are dilated to an 8, and it's too late.

After he was born, he was laid on my chest, which I love. I was just so glad to have a beautiful baby after so much time and effort. He is so handsome. He seems more petite like his sister, but time will tell if he is a tank like his brother.

We had a rough start at home. He was up all night screaming Sunday night. I was nervous I was going to have a difficult baby. But, we found out he wasn't getting enough to eat. After getting that taken care of, he has been a very mellow and sweet baby.

He had to have his billirubin checked on Monday, and we found out his weight was down to 6 pounds. He wasn't getting enough food, so I had to supplement with formula. So now, I have a baby that doesn't want anything to do with nursing. We got a call from the Dr.'s office on Tuesday, because his billirubin was too high, so they wanted to test him again. Don't worry, his test was much better, and he was back up to 6 pounds 10 1/2 ounces. In a day and a half he gained 10 1/2 ounces!!! what an eater. He wakes up twice a night to eat, and I can handle that. He is such a great baby!

Kayla and Nathaniel absolutely love their new brother. They want to hold him all the time, and They are so sweet with him.

Pictures will come soon, my camera is having issues right now.

35 weeks and counting

Yes, I am 35 weeks. I am large and in charge. I am getting tired of everyone asking me how I'm feeling. I tell everyone I feel well, fine, or whatever. To be honest, I feel sick, fat, and tired. My mom keeps telling me that it is easier when they are inside, but I am tired to feeling this way. I am nervous to be a mother of three, and know it is going to be really difficult, but, he has to come out sooner or later.

Spencer is enjoying his baseball season. They are going to have a tournament this week, so we are excited to see how his team does. He is working so hard at work supporting our family, even picking up extra shifts. He is such a great husband and father. His kids just love when daddy comes home. It is sometimes difficult to get them to leave him alone long enough to change his clothes.

Kayla loves tea parties. She will drink anything out of her tea set, and will invite anyone to enjoy some tea with her. You better remember your manners, though. She knows what is appropriate and what is not. Dressing up like a princess is the best. She wore her new fancy Easter dress to church two weeks ago. She even has little lacy gloves to wear with it. She loves to be so dainty and girly. She is very imaginative. She loves to pretend and play with others exploring the world that she can think up.

Nathaniel is learning so much. His vocabulary has increased so much lately. He says cookie, cracker, bottle, dog, cat, duck, horse, socks, shoes, please, hug, kiss, baby, blankie, and some others I can't think of right now. He is still waiting for his eye teeth to come in. They have been very stubborn, and just can't seem to come out. Nathaniel is my cuddler, and it will probably be difficult to share mommy with a new baby, but he is such a cutie.

We have been without a phone for a week and a half. That was nerve wracking, nervous that I could go into labor early, and not have access to a phone. we finally got our new phone hooked up today, so email me for my new number. I feel a little better, knowing I can easily get ahold of someone if I go into labor early.

Time moves on

Well, I am 34 weeks, and feeling better than I was last week. The baby turned, so he is no longer like a spare tire around my mid-section. I now have a waist. I didn't realize how difficult it was to breathe until Saturday morning when I woke up and Spencer noticed the baby had turned. I had more energy and could breathe, and didn't have to waddle quite so much.

I don't know about any of you other mothers out there, but Nathaniel is having sleep issues. He often thinks that 2:30 am is a good time to wake up and play. He won't go back to bed, at least not in his own bed. Sometimes I have to sit with him on the couch with a movie on, and other times, when i am very desparate, he sleeps between Spencer and me. That is the worst. The smallest person in the bed gets the most room, and we get feet and a head in our ribs, back, face, or anywhere else he decides to hit. I have been much better at not letting him sleep in our bed, but when it is 3 am, and I have been trying to put him back to bed for an hour and a half already, I just want some sleep. I am beginning to think he doesn't like to be alone in his room. If only he knew that in a month or so, he will have a roommate, he might just change his mind.

A few weeks ago, Kayla had a very heavy object dropped on her toe. That was very traumatic for her. Her toe got swollen, and now the toenail is blue. She was in bed that entire day, putting her foot up, and wimpering. She now just says that her toenail is going to fall off, but a new one will grow in. She is such a trooper. She is one tough cookie. I can hardly believe how big she is getting . She is still my little princess, and sometimes a teenager, too. She knows how to give attitude, and put her hand on her hips and stomp her foot when she isn't getting her way, but she is also so sweet, giving hugs and telling you she loves you so much.

Both our kids have been learning and growing so much. They both love nursery and going to play at the kidsplace at the gym. We are very excited to add to our family. We are so curious as to what this new little baby will look like. We already have a stacy mini and a spencer mini. Only time will tell.

February: a month of Birthdays

February is a big month in our home. Kayla's birthday is the fifth and Spencer's is the 14th. We had a birthday party for Kayla this year. Just a small get together with a few friends. We had a My Little Pony theme, and we had a good turn out. The girls colored a picture we taped to lunch bags for them to take their party favors home in. We ate home-made pizza, and watched a My Little Pony video, and just played with toys. We also decorated cupcakes to eat. One of the biggest hits was ring around the rosies. Each friend got to take home a bracelet, and a party balloon. Thanks to my mom for all of her help at the party. She is an amazing woman, picking up where I slacked.
Kayla was very gracious and thankful for all her gifts. It was rewarding to see her tell everyone thank you and give them a hug. She was truly spoiled by her friends and extended family. Thanks to everyone that made this, her third birthday such a special one.

Spencer is another year older, and even more fun! Turning 26 looks good on him. I just want him to know how much I love him, and support him in all that he sets out to do. He has truly found his passion working with the Hunter High Baseball Program. I see the joy that it brings him, and how much he gives to the program and the individual players. He takes them under his wing to help them improve and learn the skills they have inside of them. He is a great influence on them, and a great mentor. I am so proud of all the time he takes to help the individuals, and to let them know that they matter, and can make a difference in the world. Spencer is the most selfless person I know. He truly is a great example to me.

For Spencer's birthday, he got breakfast in bed. Eggs, Bacon, Toast, Fruit and Yogurt. Kayla and Nathaniel each carried their own plate up as well. I didn't know Nathaniel was bringing his up. I found hime one step from the top with his plate (food still on top). We had fun all eating on our bed. We had church, so we all got ready, and I got a roast ready. I am still learning some of the "easy" recipes that my mom has mastered, and roast is one of them. Our "beef jerky" roast was done too well, but was pretty tender. Spencer just relaxed and did what he wanted. He is such a great husband. He works so hard to support his family, and is such a great father. His children wait for him to come home, and can't get enough of his fun playing.

Happy New Year

Well, it is a new year! We have had a great this year. We also had a very nice Christmas. The day before Christmas Eve we had our last annual Christmas party at Spencer's Grandparent's house. We sing and act out the Nativity, and have fun together. Christmas Eve we have dinner and Nativity at Grandparent's Day. During the program, Kayla played Mary, holding a teddy bear, and Nathaniel was a shepherd, herding my brother. Then, Kayla sang "Kangaroos Jump", and it was so cute. Christmas morning we woke up around 8:00, yay, I got sleep! Spencer put the Breakfast Casserole in the oven (which he made the day before while I was at work. Thank you Thank you). Kayla and Nathaniel were so cute finding their stockings on the couch from Santa. Santa brought them both a stick horse, and that was a very big hit! Kayla loved opening the presents, for everyone. Nathaniel didn't want to open the presents, he just wanted to play with the toys!!! He loved all his toys. After the presents were all opened, we ate breakfast, then played some more. We went to Grandparent's Lybbert for family pictures and a wonderful lunch. We had a great time with family. Then, we headed to Great-Grandparent's Day to say hi and wish them a happy day. By the end of the visit, we had two very tired children, and two worn out parents. We love the holidays and the time we can spend with family.

Spencer did the sweetest thing for me this year. I don't know how long it took him, but I think it would take a long time. I don't know if you have seen National Treasure, but that movie is about a treasure hunt. Spencer made my own treasure hunt this year. He had placed an envelope for me on the tree, to open Christmas Eve when the kids were asleep. Inside was a small piece of paper with burnt edges that said, "The secret lies with Middle C". So, after taking everything off the piano, I found the next clue taped to the hammer of Middle C. That led me to a wedding picture with a code on the back. I then had to find the correct letters from the "Family Proclomation" to get the next clue. This one led me to the kitchen table, and that clue led me to his tool bag. Needless to say, inside the beautifully wrapped box was a small jewelry box containing my own personal treasure. I have the sweetest most thoughtful husband in the world!

For New Year's Eve, Spencer and I made some chinese food. We had a great noodle dish and beef and broccoli. We ate with chop sticks, of course, and then went to bed before 10:00. We ring in the new year catching up on zzz's.

So, I want to wish you all a happy new year, and remember to set "easy" goals, and have fun with them.
